This link to Kristen Neff’s website on self compassion allows you to take a self compassion assessment and see how you rate on showing compassion to yourself. Studies show the more compassion we can show ourselves, the less depression, anxiety, and struggle we will experience as we navigate hard things in our lives. The site gives exercises to improve our self compassion and while they may feel a little silly or uncomfortable at first, they make a huge difference in how we feel and how we manage difficult times.
