WooCommerce is a widely used and popular ecommerce  platform developed for WordPress.  WooCommerce is the #1 WordPress e-commerce plugin.  WooThemes, the company that  develops WooCommerce was recently purchaed by Automattic.  Who is Automattic you ask? It is the company that developed WordPress…..Yes WordPress.

So what does that mean, the popular will become even more popular.
